When can I use the Independent Mental Capacity Advocate Service (IMCA)?

County Durham Advocacy Service provides independent advocacy support for people who do not have the capacity to make certain decisions in their life - about where they live, consent to serious medical treatment, and reviews of their care and support, and they have no one appropriate to consult with around these decisions.

You can find details of Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy and other advocacy on the Cloverleaf Advocacy website.
